together

once upon a morning dew…

(the coffee not yet even brewed)

dawned

rainbow after rainbow,

just beyond the window

pane —

one brighter than the other;

the other brighter than the rest;

each glowing,

nonetheless

thought They,

“it is not possible to be

brighter

than;

we can only be what we can.”

and yet we (can) discover,

somehow,

that

tying our golden strings

into one beautiful

bow,

actually, is

Every-thing

2/18/25

Here we are, in winter 2025, where I am in the throes of producing our local high school’s musical — which means not much time for anything else! ☺️ But that’s ok; opening night is only a month away! (Click HERE for info and tickets.)

I love writing, and sure do miss it when I don’t make it a priority. So above is a tiny poem that crept into my fingers/heart/pen this chilly evening. Much more is to come, but in the meantime, I wish you the “warm fuzziness” of a hot beverage, a toasty blanket, and coziness aplenty. 💜
