somehow
in the midst of a noisy,
crowded-house
our space is sacred—
quiet even;
amongst the chatter
there is a safety,
a
something bigger than you and I
bubbling
between us—
foretelling of timelessness
and laying bare,
magic

This little ditty, is all for now; what cometh, cometh. ☺️ Photo was taken at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh. The marble staircase is a stunner. 💜
Thanks for hanging in there with me! I haven’t been posting much because I’ve been working on my book. 🤭🤭🤭 Hope you are able to enjoy the summer months in your neck of the woods – finding magic under every rock, and in every flap of a butterfly’s wings. xxx 💜
And here’s what this poem looks like on my Instagram: plaidzooks… If you’d like a print or notecards, etc., with any of my writings, head to my Redbubble Shop. ☺️🫶🏻
