sky

robin’s egg blue! I spy through

golden, firey red leaves.

a spectrum of gorgeousness

tickling me hope,

wrapping me in love;

what lies within your blue-ness?

how high do you soar?

do you touch the earth

in hugggles?

were you accompanying me

in the Aldi parking lot?

did you greet me at the

Starbucks drive-through?

I feel your gentleness

and forever being-ness

every time I sing to you

every time I love to you, for

I remember.

I remember.

I remember…

I remember!

This was a tiny poem prompt. The word, “sky,” was provided by Beth Kempton. Photo was taken this very day — this blue sky, colorful, autumn day — in my backyard. Hope it’s a good one, wherever you are. 🧡🧡
